The Great Plains Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America is in need of volunteers July 25–29. Please call Mary Bushman at (402) 398–1422. This is a great opportunity to give back to our veterans who now live in wheelchairs.
Light The Night Walk is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual nationwide evening walk. Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate the lives touched by cancer. Deb also is planning another sand volleyball tournament on July 26th to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Contact Deb for more information about the tournaments.
Camp Quality Heartland is a non-profit organization that provides a summer camp and other activities throughout the year for kids with cancer and their siblings. The organization is looking for volunteers to help with various activities.
